A McKeesport man, wanted since the end of July for violating probation connected to a guilty plea involving two gun charges, has been arrested and is facing new gun charges.
25-year-old Donte Harper pleaded guilty in December 2024 and was sentenced to three years’ probation on a case involving two gun charges.
In July of this year, a bench warrant was issued for a probation violation on that case.
On Tuesday, detectives from Sheriff Kraus' office took Harper into custody without incident.
Harper was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
In addition to answering for the bench warrant, he is now facing two new gun charges for a weapon he possessed during the arrest.
