A West View man is suing the Port Authority for negligence and carelessness after being dragged by a bus.
Lloyd Gaston says his arm was caught in the rear door of the bus when the driver closed it early.
It happened in August of 2020 on Forbes Avenue in Oakland.
The complaint says the driver, either inattentive or distracted, accelerated dragging Gaston, who fell and may have been run over before he was pinned between the bus and the curb.
Several ribs were broken, his liver was lacerated and Gaston had internal bleeding and altered GI function.
A spokesperson said Port Authority does not comment on pending litigation.
