Gun violence broke out late last night in Homewood.
ShotSpotter alerted police to eight rounds fired around 11 p.m. in the 7200 block of Frankstown Avenue.
A 53-year-old man was shot in the leg and the front door of a nearby convenience store was damaged.
The man was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
