Man wounded after lunchtime shooting in East End

Pittsburgh police say a man is in stable condition after a lunchtime shooting in the city's East End.

Investigators say there were reports of an argument between three men and then gunshots on the 200 block of East End Avenue around 11:30 a.m.

Then not far from there, police headed to the scene located the victim on the 7700 block of Brashear Street.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition with a gunshot wound to his back/shoulder area and a “minor graze” to his chin.

So far, no arrests have been made but police are studying surveillance video.
