With a new administration in the city, what is the policy when it comes to immigration enforcement?

Mayor Corey O'Connor said the city will not to assist in ICE operations.

"If you're coming from another country, we want Pittsburgh to be your home. And we want to be welcoming," he told KDKA-TV.

Republican Committee Chairman Todd McCollum told KDKA-TV the city can't ignore federal law.

"This is just silly. You can't a la carte what laws you're going to pick and choose to enforce," he said.

In a statement, a Homeland Security spokesperson said: "law enforcement is targeting criminal illegal aliens including murderers, pedophiles, rapists, terrorists and gang members".
