The Mayor of McKeesport was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee over the weekend.
Mayor Michael Cherepko was arrested after he reportedly caused a disturbance near Whiskey Row.
Officials said hew was “extremely intoxicated” and was complaining about a lost credit card.
Security said that Cherepko closed his tab after 1 a.m. and his card was given back to him.
Cherepko told police he had been mistaken and must have lost it.
Police asked him to return the next day to try to find it. He left, but returned a short time later and was even more intoxicated and was arrested after causing another disturbance with security.
He posted a bond of $250 and has a hearing scheduled after the first of the year.
