The steak and seafood restaurant McCormick & Schmick's has closed its last location in the Pittsburgh area.
The company says in a statement that it made the difficult decision to close its Downtown Pittsburgh location at Piatt Place on Fifth Avenue Tuesday.
No specific reason has been given with signage seen coming down.
Locations at the Waterfront and South Side Works previously closed.
McCormick & Schmick’s parent company Landry’s COO Shah Ghani tells KDKA Radio, in a statement:
After many years serving the downtown Pittsburgh community, McCormick & Schmick’s on Fifth Avenue has made the difficult decision to close its doors. We are incredibly grateful to our loyal guests and dedicated team members for allowing us to be part of so many celebrations, traditions, and memorable moments over the years. We are currently working to transition team members to nearby sister locations and encourage guests to continue visiting us at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Grand Concourse, and Mitchell’s Fish Market.
The last remaining location in Pennsylvania is in Philadelphia.
