Get your bibs ready, the McRib is back!
McDonald’s announced the return of the iconic sandwich to Pittsburgh-area restaurants next week.
The boneless pork patty sandwich with BBQ sauce with onions and pickles will be available on Monday, October 26.
Introduced in 1981 as a limited-time item in the Kansas City area, it quickly went nationwide and is now available annually, usually in autumn.
The McRib is available for a limited-time only.
According to McDonald’s, the restaurant chain uses around 20 million pounds of the pork from Pennsylvania annually.
The McRib can be ordered in-store or though the McDonald’s app.
