Mega Millions ticket sold online in PA worth $2 million

Someone in Pennsylvania has a Mega Millions ticket worth $2 million.

The PA Lottery says the ticket was purchased online for the Friday the 13th drawing, matching all five white balls drawn, (2, 19, 36, 40, 55), but not the yellow Mega Ball (9) to win the prize.

Because the ticket was purchased online the Lottery tells KDKA Radio they don’t know exactly where in the state it was sold.

“Because this online win was part of a multi-state Draw Game (Powerball, Mega Millions, etc.), the winner must claim the prize in person at PA Lottery Headquarters,” Lottery Deputy Communications Director Diana Dietz tells KDKA Radio. “The claim has not yet been processed in our system, so we’re not able to confirm or release county information at this time.”

The Winners should sign the back of their ticket immediately and, for security reasons, the winner must claim the prize in person at Lottery Headquarters.

That is because the ticket was sold online, is worth over $1 million and is part of the multi-state drawing.
