The North Shore memorial honoring fallen law enforcement officers in Allegheny County has been vandalized.
Video shows many of the letters have been pried off the memorial's plaque located near the Riverwalk.
Sheriff Kevin Krause has this reaction after it was brought to his attention on the Marty Griffin show.
"It certainly could use a little attention, it's frustrating," said Kraus. "The notion is these things were intentionally removed from the cement. They're anchored pretty extensively into the cement, so the notion is that they've been removed for whatever reason."
Sheriff Krause is calling for action to be taken to get the memorial back in its appropriate shape.
