A man and woman in Mercer County are facing criminal homicide charges in the death of a 3-year-old boy earlier this summer.
Pennsylvania State Police say the Mercer County coroner has ruled the June 27 death of the child a homicide, after he had a fatal amount of illegal drugs in his system.
Investigators say the toddler was under the care of 32-year-old Felicesha Hardman and 35-year-old Wade "Manny" Daniels, both of Greenville.
They say the two had purchased illegal drugs the night before, but misplaced them in the home.
The child found and ingested them Then, just yesterday the two were injured in a one car accident in West Salem Township and taken to a trauma center in Ohio.
Daniels has been discharged but being held in Ohio on a separate warrant.
Hardman remains hospitalized with serious injuries.
State police say both will be brought back to Pennsylvania to face criminal homicide and other charges.
