A restaurant north of Pittsburgh is “out of compliance” after an inspection by the PA Department of Agriculture’s food safety service.
An inspection shows Mamacitas Mexican Bar and Cocktails in the Adams Shoppes has six violations prompting the “out of compliance” status on Friday.
The violations include raw meats, cheese and vegetables found in a cooler at unsafe temperatures between 52 and 62. Safe cold-holding is 41 degrees or lower.
That four-drawer prep cooler was also cited because it is not holding the food at a safe temperature. The food inside the cooler was thrown away.
The handwashing sink in the kitchen area was not getting to a temperature of at least 85 degrees.

Mamacita’s is able to continue operating and has five days to correct the violations.
