A new entertainment venue is coming to the North Shore.
Legacy Hospitality Partners have announced “Mic Drop” will be right next to the soon-to-open Highball Social Club on North Shore Drive.
“Mic Drop” will be a 4,321 square foot space that is “centered around live entertainment, music and elevated social experiences.”
That will include karaoke, “bandeoke”, dueling pianos, live national and local acts and DJs.
In addition to the nightlife it expects to attract, “Mic Drop” will also have events in the daytime and early evening for those that want to be home by 10 p.m.
Specialty drinks and other beverages will be available with a “robust craft cocktail program”.
Along with Legacy, the Pittsburgh Pirates are also partnering in the entertainment venue.
“Mic Drop is another step in our vision of building destination driven hospitality experiences that create energy, excitement, and lasting memories,” said Herky Pollock, President and CEO of Legacy Hospitality Partners. “The North Shore has become one of the premier entertainment districts east of Chicago, and we believe Mic Drop will bring something completely unique to Pittsburgh. From karaoke and dueling pianos to live bands, daytime experiences, and craft cocktails, this is about creating a place where people do not just go out. They become part of the show.”
An opening date, along with other details will be announced in the upcoming months.
