A teenage girl missing since last Wednesday has been found in South Carolina with a man, who know faces charges.
Fayette County District Attorney Michael Aubele’s office says the girl is in the process of being reunited with her family and 20-year-old Michael Hart is facing a charged of interference with custody of children.
Hart previously denied having any knowledge of the 17-year-old girls’ whereabouts but the DA says Hart took her out of Pennsylvania last Wednesday and placer her with a member of his family.
Aubele says his actions and others put a “substantial strain” on emergency services in the area that were searching for her.
An investigation is ongoing and other charges are expected to be filed in the coming days.
