A family in Indiana is asking for help locating a 17-year-old girl they believe is in Western Pennsylvania.
The family of Charlot Javis tells KDKA Radio they have knowledge she was supposed to meet someone in Pennsylvania and has been missing since the early hours of Saturday morning (between midnight and 2 a.m. on October 11).
Charly, as she is known, is from New Castle, Indiana.
She is 5-foot-10, 190-pounds with long, reddish brown hair that is to the middle of the back (if it hasn’t been cut).
Her family believes she may be in the Punxsutawney, Bethel Park or McKeesport areas and that she was supposed to be staying with a woman named Amanda.
“We just want to hear from her at least to know she’s okay,” her aunt tells KDKA Radio.
Anyone that sees Charly is asked to call their local police department, 911 or New Castle, Indiana Police at 765-529-4890 (reference case number is 25-022359).
