An Illinois woman is sentenced to 31 months in prison for her involvement in a ring that produced and distributed videos showing monkeys being sexually tortured.
Amanda Fourez pleaded guilty in Federal Court here in Western Pennsylvania earlier this year.
Another defendant, Joseph Buckland of Mount Pleasant will be sentenced in January after he pleaded guilty earlier this year.
Prosecutors say the videos showed monkeys being tortured, burned and having their genitals mutilated.
