A mother and her daughter died after an accident that shut down part of I-70 in Washington County Sunday.
The two-vehicle crash was reported just after 1 p.m. State Police say the driver of a westbound Toyota Camry lost control of the car, which went over the median and landed in the eastbound lanes before being hit by a tractor-trailer.
The mother and daughter were ejected and the 18-wheeler crashed into a nearby home.
Police say the father and father in the Toyota were not wearing seatbelts and the toddler was not in a car seat.
