Snookie Nutting has died.
The mother of Pirates owner Bob Nutting died Sunday at the age of 90.
The lifelong Wheeling resident was well known for her preservation efforts in Wheeling, and her love of tennis, skiing and traveling the world.
She was also a frequent visitor to PNC Park and was no stranger to the owner's box, where she loved watching her son's team play.
No visitation or public service is planned.
