PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) A Pittsburgh Police officer and multiple teens were injured after a fight broke out near Taylor Allderdice High School.
The fight began shortly after school let out Tuesday afternoon.
Police say an officer on Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hill saw the teens fighting and tried to intervene, but the teens wouldn't stop.
The officer attempted to use a taser on one of the teens when the other allegedly began attacking the officer.
Another officer on the scene tased that teen and both juveniles were treated by paramedics on the scene before being taken to the hospital for further clearance.
Charges are pending against the teens involved with the scuffle.
As for the officers, the first one involved suffered a hand and shoulder injury and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
