UPDATE: We’re learning more about the murder-suicide overnight. PA State Police say 25-year-old Madeline Spatafore was found shot multiple times inside a home in Seven Fields.
The shooter, 26-year-old Ryan Hosso was found dead from a single gunshot wound in a nearby wooded area.
Northern Regional Police initially received a call from the suspect’s parents after Hosso told them he had killed his wife and was threatening his own.
Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Butler County Tuesday morning on Graywyck Drive in Seven Fields.
“Right now, we have two deceased, a male and a female, we haven’t confirmed their relation to each other yet,” Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Bertha Cazy tells KDKA Radio.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m.
Trooper Cazy says a woman was found shot to death inside the home.
A short time later, a man was found dead in a wooded area behind the house in neighboring Cranberry Township.
State police are leading the investigation across both jurisdictions.
