
Kennywood is asking for Pittsburgh’s help naming its redesigned Potato Patch-inspired bumper cars.
Those who participate in Kennywood’s Vote for the most A-peel-ing New Ride Name Sweepstakes will be entered into a contest to win free Potato Patch Fries all year long.
Each car will be fitted with fries, oozing cheese sauce and an oversized fork.
The names voters have to choose from are:

“We are thrilled to give our fans the opportunity to help name the new Patch®-themed ride and get in on the fun,” says Kennywood Assistant General Manager, Rick Spicuzza. “This new ride encompasses the Kennywood experience we strive to offer our guests, a mix of modern thrills and iconic traditions as we continue the park’s multi-year transformation project.”
Kennywood will open on Saturday, April 20. and will remain open on the weekends through Memorial Day, when daily operations will begin.
Both the bumper cars and the Potato Patch are celebrating 50 years at the park.
