A Natrona Heights nurse is in jail, accused in two overdose deaths and a hospitalization last year in Butler County.

40-year-old Heather Pressdee is a registered nurse.

She's accused of giving lethal doses of insulin to a 55-year-old man and an 83-year-old man while she was working at Quality Life Services, a skilled nursing facility in Chicora.

A third victim, a 73-year-old man, survived after emergency hospitalization.

In a statement, state Attorney General Michelle Henry says Pressdee's acts were deliberate and intentional, "perpetrated by a care-giver... trusted to care for" the men.

Pressdee was arrested at her home Wednesday, arraigned on homicide, attempted murder and other charges and is being held at Butler County Prison without bail.
