The Better Business Bureau of Western PA is giving advice for navigating flood recovery and water damage.
Record-breaking rainfall throughout Western PA has caused large-scale flooding and property damage for consumers and businesses.
While quick action can minimize disastrous effects, the Better Business Bureau wants people to be careful when choosing businesses and contractors to help with the cleanup work.
If you come across a scam the BBB's Caitlin Driscoll says to act.
“If you do encounter any scams, any problematic businesses, issues with the company that you hire, you can always file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, report scams to our BBB scam tracker program as well to help warn others,” said Driscoll.
