A new restaurant opens in Lawrenceville Friday.
It's called the Main Street Diner.
Pittsburgh Magazine's Kristy Graver got a sneak preview this past week.
She tells the Big K Morning Show that fans of Beetlejuice will dig this strange and unusual eatery.
Graver says there is a “not so subtle nods to the movie ‘Beetlejuice’.”
The restaurant will offer things like burgers, pierogis, milkshakes and other diner food along with a “really cool bar.”
They also have pinball and hours are Friday – Sunday 10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Monday closed and Tuesday – Thursday 3:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
“It’s super immersive, they’ve been working on it for like five years so I think people will be really impressed, even if you’re not a fan of ‘Beetlejuice’,” said Graver.
Main Street Diner is located at 4112 Butler Street in the basement of the Lawrenceville Market House.
Parking is available behind the building.
