Indiana, Pennsylvania and IUP how have their own Primanti Bros. location.
The Pittsburgh original opened its newest location on Wednesday morning on the 1500 block of Oakland Avenue in Indiana.
To celebrate the grand opening, Primanti’s gave away free sandwiches for a year to the first 100 people through the door.
Also, a party is underway with a DJ, games and prizes at the location.
“Most businesses don’t open their doors and then immediately give away the house to start their first day,” said Adam Golomb, CEO, Primanti Bros., “But, we’ve never really been one to stick to the rules. And, we’ve been focused on coming to Indiana for years – so there’s no better way to celebrate.”
Primanti Bros. and it’s “Almost Famous” sandwiches were born in the Strip District of Pittsburgh in 1933.
The new Indiana location will offer the same menu and deals as every other Primanti Bros. restaurant.
