PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — PennDOT will begin another Route 28 project starting on Monday, Jan 25.
Work will be primarily focused on the northbound portions of Route 28, spanning numerous municipalities.
The work will feature single lanes, which will go into effect on that Monday night.
The traffic restriction will be utilized between the Highland Park interchange and the exit for Delafield Road from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every night.
And this will be the case until the project's expected completion in early April.
Lane restrictions could also pop up on southbound Route 28 but only on a needed basis.
PennDOT is asking motorists to exercise caution as they travel on Route 28 while the project is underway.
