A Norwin school student is getting medical treatment after being hit by a car Friday morning.
The 6th-grade boy was walking to Hillcrest Intermediate School when he was struck on Mockingbird Drive.
Norwin’s superintendent wrote a letter to parents in the district to alert them of the incident.
School counselors are offering support to anyone that needs it.
North Huntingdon Police are investigating the incident.
