Another nursing care facility has been hit with a lawsuit involving a former Western Pennsylvania nurse.

Attorney Robert Pierce has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Sunnyview Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Butler on behalf of the family of Nicholas Cymbol.

Heather Pressdee, who co-workers called "The Killer Nurse," has admitted to giving lethal doses of insulin to numerous patients at care facilities, beginning in 2020.

More than 22 deaths are linked to Pressdee.

Attorney Pierce tells the Big K Morning Show Sunnyview hired Pressdee after she was terminated or forced to resign from 10 facilities in less than four years.

“Pressdee was hired January 2 of 2023 and let go five months later on May 1, 2023, which is the date the Mr. Cymbol passed away,” said Pierce.

Pressdee is currently incarcerated and a hearing is scheduled for early May.

It’s the 5th lawsuit filed regarding patients that have passed away under the care of Pressdee.
