Officers were sent to a domestic incident between a man and a woman around 4 a.m. in the 500 block of Brookline Boulevard.
They arrived to find the man inside a vehicle and surrounded it. They say he backed the vehicle up, striking a police cruiser and causing an officer to jump out of the way to avoid being hit.
That officer hit her head on a curb and was taken to a hospital in stable condition with neck and wrist pain.
The man hit another vehicle before fleeing the area and later wrecked the car at the bottom of Pioneer Avenue and ran through a wooded area.
Officers arrested him near London Towne Road. Multiple charges are expected.
