A man is accused of exchanging gunfire with Pennsylvania State Troopers in Indiana County.
The alleged incident occurred just before noon on Sunday, when troopers were called to Valley Road in Young Township after receiving reports that a man was pointing an automatic rifle at his neighbor's home.
When troopers arrived at the scene, police say Robert Richard II opened fire on them.
Responding troopers then returned fire, they say, hitting Richard in the shoulder.
Richard was taken to the hospital for treatment.
