Police are investigating after an officer involved shooting Tuesday in Leetsdale.
Ambridge Police say a Leetsdale police officer initiated a traffic stop that ended on Maplewood Avenue in Ambridge.
During that stop, the suspect hit the officer with their vehicle. The uninjured officer fired his gun at the vehicle as it fled back into Leetsdale where the suspect was taken into custody.
Ambridge Police helped Leetsdale Police until Pennsylvania State Troopers arrived to investigate.
The suspect was no injured during the incident.
