Ohio man charged after gun found at PIT security checkpoint

An Ohio man is facing a felony charge for carrying a firearm without a license after TSA officers found a gun in his carry-on bag Sunday morning at Pittsburgh International.

47-year-old Justin Stanley of Negley, Ohio, didn’t have a valid concealed carry permit.

Stanley faces a misdemeanor charge and the FBI was also notified.

The fine for bringing a gun to an airport security checkpoint can reach nearly $14,000 dollars.
