One adult, two children die in Indiana County house fire

Three people are dead after a house fire in Indiana County early Friday morning.

PA State Police and the Indiana County Coroner’s Office are investigating after the fire broke out just before 4:15 a.m. on the 400 block of Hancock Street in Clymer Borough.

Both parts of the duplex-style home were fully involved when firefighters arrived.

State Police say one adult and two children were found head inside the home. Two dogs were also found dead as a result of the fire.

Several other people inside the home at the time of the fire were able to safely escape and are being assisted by relatives.

The Clymer Volunteer Fire Company and several other companies responded to put out the blaze.

State Police and the Fire Marshal continue to investigate and at this time, foul play is not suspected.
