One person has died after an apartment fire in New Kensington Wednesday night.
According to officials the fire occurred in the 1300 block of Kenneth Avenue. A call came in around 7:13 PM.
The person who died lived on the first floor of the six floor apartment according to the fire chief.
The building has been badly burned after the fire spread to the third floor. The red cross is assisting those who are affected by the fire.
The fire is under investigation by officials.
