One woman was killed and another woman was injured during a shooting in Brighton Heights Wednesday evening.
Pittsburgh Public Safety says officers responded to the 600 block of Brighton Woods Rd. around 7:45 p.m. for a 10-round Shotspotter alert.
When they arrived, they found two women who had been shot. Both of them were taken to the hospital in critical condition. A third woman who is pregnant fell while running away. Police say she refused medical care.
One of the victims died at the hospital.
A man was taken into custody.
Police say witnesses reported an argument before the shooting.
