Outback Steakhouse in North Hills closes its doors for good

Outback Steakhouse in the North Hills permanently closed over the weekend.

It’s one of a few dozen locations across the country that have shuttered.

The location on McKnight Road in McCandless had been open for over 25 years.

Outback Steakhouse released the following statement to KDKA Radio:

“Closing a restaurant is never easy. This was a business decision that is not a reflection of the management or staff. Some employees will have the opportunity to transfer. Those who do not will receive a severance package. We appreciate the community’s support over the past 27 years and hope to see you at our Moon Township restaurant.”

In addition to the Moon Township location, Outback last locations in Monroeville and Washington County.
