The Pennsylvania Senate has passed a bill that would eliminate annual vehicle emissions testing statewide.
In a bipartisan vote, the Senate approved Senate Bill 1298, sponsored by Senator Wayne Langerholc Jr., to eliminate annual emissions testing in all 25 participating counties.
During Tuesday’s debate, Langerholc said, People are being squeezed from every direction, and the last thing they should be forced to bankroll are outdated mandates that do nothing but drain their wallets.
