The head of Pennsylvania's Game Commission supports a push in Harrisburg to end the ban on most Sunday hunting.
Two bills to do that have been introduced, one by Representative Mandy Steele from Fox Chapel.
There is limited Sunday hunting.
In 2020, hunters were given three Sundays to hunt deer and bear during archery and gun seasons.
The Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, which has opposed Sunday hunting in the past, said it will step aside as long as some guidelines are approved.
