A Pennsylvania Lottery player in the Pittsburgh area won over half a million dollars on a Fast Play Game.
Lottery officials say the winning “Deep Pockets” game was sold at the Puff N Snuff on East Donner Avenue in Monessen on Tuesday. The location gets a $5,000 for selling the winning ticket.
The total winnings from the ticket comes to $565,000
Fast Play tickets are similar to Scratch-Off games, “but without the need to scratch a ticket or wait for a drawing” the lottery said in a release.
Players can review the ticket or scan it at a Lottery retailer to see if they’ve won.
Winners should sign the back of the ticket immediately and call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 to begin the claiming process.
Winners have one year to claim their prize from the purchase date.
