Criminal charges are pending after a search at an Oakland bar.

A warrant was served last Thursday at Panther Pit at 226 Meyran Avenue for liquor sales without a license.

State police say 345 liters of liquor and wine and 243 gallons of beer were seized.

The health department says the bar was shut down in February after an inspection.

There was a “strong odor” of sewage gas, and no supplies available to employees for hand washing.

The bar reopened on March 2. See that inspection report here.
