With both a Pirates and a Steelers game on the North Shore Saturday, a plan has been developed to help get fans where they need to go.

The Pirates take on the Seattle Mariners at PNC Park at 1:05 p.m. That is followed by the Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills in a preseason game at Acrisure Stadium at 7 p.m.

The Pirates, Acrisure Stadium and ALCO Parking released the following information:

• To allow for an efficient fan exit from the Pirates game and fan arrival at the Steelers game, fans attending the baseball game are asked to exit the parking lots and garages immediately after the game ends and football fans are encouraged to arrive after 4:00 p.m.

• North Shore lots will be open to both baseball and football fans. Tailgating is permitted prior to both contests, but fans must leave their respective parking area once their event starts.

• Gameday pay-parking / non-pre-sold parkers are strongly encouraged to utilize alternative parking at:

Golden Triangle Garages and ride the free Light Rail Transit to the North Shore
Station Square and ride the Gateway Clipper Fleet
South Hills Light Rail Lots (free) and ride the Light Rail Transit to the North Shore

• Fans are encouraged to download and utilize WAZE, a free navigation app that provides the most efficient routes to and from games.

WAZE provides fans with navigation directly to their parking spot while avoiding traffic delays.

Acrisure Stadium and Pittsburgh Pirates provide WAZE with all the time-based event day road closures that other GPS software may not be aware of.
