Great news for commuters that travel on Route 51.
PennDOT has announced Saw Mill Run Boulevard between Crane Avenue and Woodruff Street in Pittsburgh has reopened after the area was closed for about a month.
The closure allowed crews to do bridge demolition work, block wall installation and roadway work.
Work will continue on the project through the fall with lane restrictions between Crane and Woodruff weeknights from 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. from September 3 through September 27.
