A Penn Hills mother and father are facing aggravated assault and other charges in the death of their 3-year-old son.
Devin Goodson was taken to a hospital when 911 was notified he wasn't breathing on Wednesday afternoon.
Hospital staff told detectives the boy showed "obvious signs of physical abuse, including multiple healing and active bone fractures."
Witnesses told investigators 23-year-old Lagomau Malu physically abused the child on multiple occasions.
Later, Police announced charges against the father, 22-year-old Adam Chirico.
Both are charged with endangering the welfare of children and reckless endangerment.
Both were arrested and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
