PITTSBURGH (Newsradio KDKA) - State Representative Bob Brooks (54th Legislative District) said Friday the focus of the state budget is going to be on education.
"The governor wants to have a legacy, and his legacy is education." Brooks said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show Hometown Tour. "He's put money into it every year. He's again done that this year, and we as a legislature have backed that. Not completely to the level that he's asked, but we backed it every year."
Brooks said the investment in education will be the largest increase on record.
