University of Pitt Police sent an alert to students overnight after a man with a pellet gun reportedly fired at several people on the school's campus.
Pitt Police say they received multiple reports of aggravated assault with a pellet gun between 10 and 11:20 p.m.
The suspect is described as a white man with dirty blonde hair who was traveling in the back seat of a white utility vehicle, possibly a Mitsubishi Outlander.
It happened near Fifth and Forbes Avenues, as well as Atwood Street.
There were no reports of injuries.
