The latest in what seems to be an increasing number of pedestrian accidents happened early Monday morning in Moon Township.
A person was struck by a vehicle along Patton Drive, not far from University Boulevard, the high school and RMU.
The driver stayed at the scene and the pedestrian was taken to a hospital, condition unknown.
