Pirates Charities will replace a shed and baseball equipment destroyed in a fire at a Latrobe park Monday.

Police in Latrobe believe the shed, which belonged to Latrobe Little League, was intentionally set on fire.

One month before the Little League season is scheduled to start, the Pirates say they will replace the equipment.

"(Pirates owner) Bob Nutting read the story and reached out directly to pledge our support not only for replacement of the shed, but also for other to be determined field improvements," said Dan Hart, a Pirates spokesperson.

An anonymous donor is offering a $1,000 reward leading to the arrests of the person or people who set the fire.
