A University of Pittsburgh student was assaulted by a man who somehow had the key to the victim's building and the individual apartment.
Police say 20-year-old Chaz Ramon Corlew Jr. of Mount Oliver faces multiple charges including assault and burglary after allegedly assaulting a Pitt student inside his apartment.
The victim fought back when Corlew attempted to sexually assault and choke him.
Investigators say Corlew somehow obtained the master key to the HERE apartments on Forbes Avenue and that allegedly allowed Corlew to open all of the doors.
The University of Pittsburgh says the victim is now living in campus housing. Corlew remains in the Allegheny County Jail.
