Hundreds of fans descended onto the streets around Oakland late Sunday night to celebrate the Super Bowl.

A mix of Philadelphia fans, Kenny Pickett supports and more flooded Forbes Avenue and other roads to cheer on the Eagles win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

With the Eagles dominating, the back-up Pickett even got some playing time late in the game.

Pitt students were heard chanting Pickett’s name, along with things like “Let’s Go Birds”, “fly Eagles fly” and some were seen climbing up light poles.

Pickett, a Heisman Trophy finalist with Pitt, helped the Panthers win an ACC Championship in 2021.

A lot of students that attend Pitt are from the eastern part of Pennsylvania...Eagles territory.

Pickett was then taken in the first-round of the NFL Draft by the Steelers, but his time in Pittsburgh didn’t go as planned with the organization trading Pickett to Philadelphia last offseason.

Now, Steelers fans have to face more harsh realities.

Eagles fans took over the University of PITTSBURGH, Kenny Pickett will get a Super Bowl ring, while players like T.J. Watt still seek their first playoff win.
