Police say a Los Angeles man is facing charges after being stopped with a gun at the TSA checkpoint at Pittsburgh International Airport
Allegheny County Police were called to the airport shortly after 4 p.m. Monday when the pistol was found in the carry-on bag of 26-year-old Isaiah Hernandez.
He was charged with carrying a gun without a license.
The FBI is also investigating.
Anyone who brings a gun to a TSA security checkpoint and face fines up to $10,000. Repeat offenders can be fined nearly $14,000.
